DESCRIPTION:Freedom to Roam: Join Us in Supporting Veterans with Limited Mobility\nMarinette County is hosting the Wheel Hike Together event on September 30 – October 5\, 2025\, at Thunder Mountain Overlook Park—a special outdoor experience designed for individuals with limited mobility to enjoy the beauty of nature on an all-terrain tracked wheelchair. The Marinette Elks are proud to support this initiative by focusing on veterans with mobility challenges. Through funding from the Elks National Foundation’s Freedom Grant\, our lodge is offering gas cards to assist veterans with transportation to and from the event. Elk’s members are encouraged to bring a veteran and/or join in the hike with their families. Use of the all-terrain wheelchair is free\, but registration must be completed in advance. Veterans can register online at\n  www.exploremarinettecounty.com/pages/wheel-hike-together or by calling 715-732-7503. Volunteers are needed to help make this a memorable and meaningful day for all participants. If you’re able to assist or have questions\, please contact Terry Becker at 920-948-5550. DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the WLD Fall 2025 meet in Marinette\, EHS is helping host a Modelers Roundtable/RPM meet.  The time for this will run 8am to between 1 and 2PM.  The meet does there awards at 1 and people will be packing up ready to hit the layout tours by 2.\nThese will be separate tables from contest models and not part of that.  Although you can be part of the popular vote if you would like.   \nYou DO NOT have to be an NMRA member to participate.  You do have to pay to get into the meet though to participate.  This will include clinics and layout tours! \nPre-Registration for the meet is $15 member and $20 non-member \nLunch is $10 and provided by the Church Youth Group\, lunch is $11 day of event. \nRegistration at the door is :\n$18 for members and $23 non-members.
