DESCRIPTION:Come get your derby on and try skating with your local roller derby team! Marquette Roller Derby wants YOU to come try on some skates – and meet the team.\nNo Skates? No problem! MQT Roller Derby will provide equipment and help make sure everything fits just right. \nDon’t know anything about roller derby? That’s what we’re here for! We’d love to chat and help you learn more about what each player does and how derby is played. \nCost? This fun is free. \nYou’ll also learn about our upcoming Roller Derby 101 bootcamp\, and if you come to the open skate\, you’ll be able invited to additional open skates and be the first to get dibs on equipment at the bootcamp. \nOur initial Open Skate will be in the Baraga Gym (below the Marquette City Police Stating) at 300 West Spring Street\, Marquette\, Michigan from 12:30 to 3:00 pm on November 16\, 2025. \nIn order to attend\, RSVP below and comment with your shoe size below if you need to borrow skates and other equipment.
