As an avid quilter she wanted to begin a series of Barn Quilts to decorate their pole building facing US-2. Her first Barn Quilt was a result of doing research about both the design and painting as well as constructing the panel itself. Over the course of the next few years she and her husband have continuously improved and evolved the process.\nKathy was approached 5 years ago about doing a workshop to introduce others to barn quilting and has been conducting them ever since. It is a passion that she hopes you will come to enjoy and share and we are so excited to have her instruct at our studio!\nCome create your own piece of Americana folk art. While we do have some of these items in the studio\, our supply is limited and we want to make sure you have them with you at home when the class is done too!\n\nOne or more measuring rulers with one straightedge of at least 36″ long (1 yard)PencilsCompass and Protractor (if available)Frog tape (1″)Single edge razor bladesMagic EraserSoft art eraser\nAt the end of your workshop you will have drafted your pattern on the supplied 2′ x 2′ panel ready for painting. You can then determine the choice of colors and paint it AT HOME upon completion of this workshop. We will set a goal for completion date at the studio and those guests that have successfully finished their piece will be encouraged to bring it to the studio for a “show and tell” date to be determined.\nPlease be sure to select one pattern at checkout.
