The Downtown Farmers & Artisans Market (FAM) is held Saturdays in the parking lot across from Dickinson County Library at the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street in Downtown Iron Mountain MI. If you need help finding parking\, check out the Parking Map on this website. \nThe FAM is a great place to enjoy a sense of community while supporting local vendors and downtown businesses. The FAM offers a unique combination of local and organic produce\, seasonal plants\, honey & maple syrup\, flowers\, locally made baked goods\, and locally made crafts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSee us on Facebook for the latest announcements and posts featuring some of our vendors. You can find the full vendor lineup each week right here on the website. The table below features the vendor lineup for 2024. There will generally be 30-35 vendors\, since the FAM has a number of “weekly” spaces for vendors present on just a few Saturdays during the entire season. \nThere are many downtown businesses within a short walk\, including coffee shops\, restaurants\, retail stores\, and much more. Please see the Business Directory on this website for more information. \nWhile a few vendors may be able to process credit card transactions\, it is recommended that you bring cash\, as most vendors only accept cash. There are several ATMs nearby\, within a few blocks\, at First Bank\, First National Bank & Trust\, and Incredible Bank. \nThe table below is a current list of vendors for the 2024 season.

A classic 80’s rock band from Appleton area\, playing songs you love including\, ‘Welcome to the Jungle – Guns n’ Roses’  ‘Pour some sugar on me – Def Leppard’ and ‘Rock n roll all nite – Kiss.’  With this stellar lineup\, Oktoberfest 2024 promises to be a great experience and a lasting memory. \n\n\n\nOktoberfest Activities\n\n\n\n\nMen’s and Women’s stein holding competition\n\n\n\n\nThe stein holding competition is back by popular demand!  It’s free to participate. This competition will take place at Oktoberfest on Saturday\, September 28. Contestants must have on an Oktoberfest 21+ wristband to participate. The winner from each heat will need to be present for the championship round. Winners of the overall competition will receive their own beer boot or “bierstiefel” in German. \nThe official rules we will follow for this competition are from the U.S. Steinholding Association \nSign up information to come.
