Come to the Escanaba Public Library for an entertaining, informative presentation about Michigan’s iconic five-mile span that has seen historic, tragic, and hilarious events.
Author Mike Fornes, a resident of Mackinaw City, is frequently in demand as a guest speaker and presenter to tour groups, cruise ship organizations and historical societies. He is the author of “Mackinac Bridge – A 50 Year Chronicle 1957-2007”; “Mackinac Bridge”; “USCGC Mackinaw (WAGB-83)”; “USCGC Mackinaw (WLBB-30)”; “Mackinac Island’s Grand Hotel”; and his most recent publication, “It Happened on the Mackinac Bridge.”
