Award-winning essayist and poet Thomas Lynch shares his first novel, “No Prisoners”, a tale about Doyle Shields, an aged trade embalmer, who struggles with loss, love, war, PTSD, redemption, and salvation in the concluding chapters of his life. Three-time Michigan Notable Book author John Smolens joins Lynch for a discussion of writing novels and the writerly life.
