Holiday Parade & City Tree Lighting

Experience the magic of the holiday season as children of all ages take in the wonder of the annual Downtown Marquette Winter Snow Fun Holiday Parade. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks, and colorful holiday characters transform Third Street into a sparkling scene straight out of the North Pole.
Don’t forget your letters to Santa! The Marquette Post Office will be collecting them along the parade route to make sure every wish finds its way to the North Pole.

The parade travels south down Third Street toward the Marquette Commons, where the 50th Annual City of Marquette Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM. Join us to meet Santa, sip cocoa, and celebrate as the community comes together for an evening of music, dance, and holiday cheer.
