Gladstone’s Old Fashioned Christmas

Celebrate the holiday season with us at the 2025 Old-Fashioned Christmas in Downtown Gladstone! Join us on Friday, November 28, starting at 5:00 PM, for a new and magical tree lighting experience, horse & carriage, our first Christmas market, trailer rides, live nativity, Santa, burning barrels, and plenty of cookies and hot chocolate!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Lighting of the Downtown Christmas Tree:
The DDA invites you to kick off the holiday season with the lighting of our city’s Christmas tree, located in the parking lot at Delta Avenue and 11th Street. This magical community tradition will feature bells for children, candles for adults, and the joyful singing of holiday carols. The tree lighting will take place promptly at 5:05 PM, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early to join in the festive fun!

Santa is Coming to Gladstone:Our City Manager called in a special favor with the big guy himself, and we’re thrilled to announce that the REAL Santa will be joining us for this year’s Christmas celebration at Saunders Point Brewing!
Christmas Market:Visit our indoor Christmas Market, held in the old fire garage at City Hall, and get a jump start on your holiday shopping, all while supporting our amazing local businesses and makers.
Enjoy the SquareGet cozy at the farmers market square as you enjoy the warmth of fire with burning barrels, hot chocolate, coffee, and delicious cookies. Take in the sounds of Christmas music play and soak up everything our beautiful downtown has to offer.
