MLB’s Pitch Hit & Run (PHR) is an exciting program that allows kids aged 7 to 14 to showcase their baseball and softball skills.
MLB PHR EVENT:
DELTA COUNTY-12 NOON CST (1PM EST), AUGUST 3RD
MARINETTE COUNTY-12 NOON CST, JUNE 29TH
LANGLADE COUNTY-12 NOON, AUGUST 17TH
Here’s how it works:
Participation: Boys and girls in the specified age range (7-14) can participate in PHR events. These events are FREE and provide an opportunity for young athletes to demonstrate their abilities.
FOR NOVICE TO ADVANCED ATHLETES!
Skills Testing: Participants are tested in three fundamental areas:
Pitching: Accuracy and speed of throwing.
Hitting: Ability to hit a baseball or softball.
Running: Speed and agility on the basepaths.
Advancement: Based on their scores, participants can advance from local events to Team Championships held in Major League Baseball (MLB) stadiums. (Milwaukee Brewers)
World Series Opportunity: The top scores qualify for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to compete at the PHR Finals, which take place during the MLB World Series. Imagine being on the same stage as professional baseball players!
