Menominee Heritage Museum – Habitat Chat at Chappee – Menominee

Join us for a “Habitat Chat” by Anne Bartels, Information and Education Specialist for the Land and Water Conservation Division of Marinette Wisconsin. Participants learn about how animals are adapted to different habitats by looking at examples of mammals, birds, and other animals. Topics such as human impact on habitats and predator-prey relationships may be included. Participants will have an opportunity to see the examples brought for a more up-close look at these animals.” Informational handouts will be provided as well as a project for the children following the presentation.
Directions to Chappee – Webber Learning Center:
To visit the learning center from Menominee follow these directions:
Travel north on 10th Street (US HWY 41) to 48th Avenue
Turn left (west) onto 48th Avenue
Continue 4.4 miles to the Chappee Rapids Historical Marker (this road becomes #2 Road, then River Road)
Signs for event will be placed 1 mile, .5 miles before Entrance in both directions.
